Research
Dr. John Evans's interests focus on the remodelling
processes in the lung with emphasis on control of airway and vascular wall
structure. In vivo and in vitro models of lung injury are evaluated in terms
of cell growth, phenotypic expression and protein synthesis. The underlying
mechanisms which lead to tissue reorganization in asthma and pulmonary hypertension
are the primary areas of interest. Teaching
